To celebrate the last day of classes for the academic year, the College Music Department is sponsoring its annual performance—weather permitting—of the finale of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, complete with cannon. The cannoneers this year will be Kim Kowalke, professor of music in the School of Arts & Sciences and a professor at the Eastman School; and Kim Truebger, administrative assistant—Office of the President.
