The 2025 Skirboll Autism and Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Conference will kick off with a special screening of “The Ride Ahead.” The film follows Samuel Habib, a 21-year-old, itching to move out, start a career, and find love. Dan and Samuel Habib will present the documentary at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 4th via Zoom. Following the screening, they will be joined by moderators from the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities for a post-film discussion with the audience. The screening and discussion is free and open to the public. The screening will be shown with open captions and ASL Interpretation. This film is rated R for language and candid discussions of sexuality.
