Wellbeing in health care will be in the spotlight at the Quality Institute’s third annual Better Teams. Better Care. Symposium. The program will be followed by lunch and networking in the Flaum Atrium from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Keynote speakers Jessica Shand, MD, associate Chief Wellbeing Officer, and R. Craig Rooney, PhD, Chief Wellbeing Officer, will present “Building Our Village: Quality, Safety, and Wellbeing in Health Care Teams.”

A Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Panel Discussion and Simulation will follow, led by Sean McMahon, MBA, associate Quality Officer and director of Quality Assurance. Panelists include Lauren Gashlin, PharmD, Telva Olivares, MD, Linda Prentice, CPHQ, and Laura Raniewicz, RN, MS.

New this year is a Quality Improvement poster session with leadership rounding.

The Symposium will conclude with Michael Hasselberg, NP, MS, PhD, Chief Digital Health Officer, presenting on Digitally Reimagining Health Care.
