Thruway Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Collaboration Conference

The purpose of the 3rd Annual Thruway Conference is to bring together the four pediatric hematology/oncology divisions from across the Thruway Consortium to share innovations in research and clinical best practices. This year, we're excited to invite additional institutions from the UNYTE Translational Research Network. This year's conference will focus on opportunities and challenges in research and clinical collaboration. 

Keynote Speaker: 

John J. Strouse, MD PhD
Medical Director, Adult Sickle Cell Program 
Associate Professor of Medicine
Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics 
Duke University School of Medicine

Program Highlights will include: regional clinical, biomedical & translational research, and advances in psychosocial care in pediatric hematology/oncology.

University of Rochester Medical Center, Center for Experiential Learning is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-005.  This activity is approved for 4.00 Social Work continuing education hours. Attendance at the entire program is required (no partial credit can be awarded).
