Chamber Orchestra and Choral Concert: 150 Years of Baseball

Enjoy a family-friendly concert celebrating "150 Years of Baseball." Led by Rachel Waddell, music director and conductor, the University Chamber Orchestra along with the University’s Concert Choir, performs a baseball-themed concert in collaboration with the Rochester Red Wings, the Rochester Baseball Historical Society, Roberto Clemente School No. 8, and the University of Rochester Baseball Teams. 

Before the concert, visit visual and interactive exhibits with baseball paraphernalia and more courtesy of theRochester Baseball Historical Society. After the concert, join Mittsy-the Red Wing's mascot-for a free photo and baseball card signing.

  • National Anthem w/ Roberto Clemente Elementary School and audience 
  • J.R. Blodgett, Baseball Polka
  • The Red Wings Mascot Mittsy will be conducting! >>>>Tilzer, Albert von, Take Me Out to the Ball with the audience singing along.
  • Kapilow, Play Ball!: Casey at the Bat
  • Live Oak Polka
  • God Bless America w/Concert Choir and audience-sing-along
  • Field of Dreams (Suites Nos. 1 and/or 2)
  • “Here Come the Red Wings” w/Concert Choir and adience sing-a-long
