Diversity Seminar Series: A Common Understanding: Strategies to Improve Health Literacy - Part 2

This workshop reviews how many patients do not have adequate health literacy, which can compromise their health. We have an important role in improving health literacy. Understandable communication is crucial – it includes using plain language and teach-back, and fostering an atmosphere that promotes patient questions, including Ask Me 3.

All faculty, fellows, residents, students and staff are welcome!

A light lunch will be provided.
