Creating a Stir: Suffrage Cookbooks

Since September 2020, the public has had digital access to the Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation (RBSCP) exhibition We Want More and We Will Have It: Women Running Rochester.

Please join us for a conversation with Autumn Haag, assistant director of RBSCP, as she shows how a single item--a suffrage cookbook--can tell a story. This event is the final edition of a six-part virtual event series that will explore some stories behind Women Running Rochester and the elements that brought it to life.

The session will be recorded and complemented by a related blog post to be shared after the event. Participants can post questions in Zoom chat, which will be answered in the related blog post.

Women Running Rochester ExhiBits will be held every second Tuesday through June 8. They are free and open to the public. Please register to attend.
