Mini Conference: Get Published, Get Funded

American Chemical Society (ACS) on Campus is an opportunity to hear from leaders in chemistry, publishing, science communication, and career development.

At this event, two of the leaders you will hear from are Rochester’s own: Kara Bren, professor of chemistry, and William Jones, the Charles F. Houghton Professor of Chemistry.

Professors Bren and Jones—who are associate editors of the Journal of the American Chemical Society—will be offering tips on how to publish scholarly work and effectively communicate your work to the general public. For the full agenda, including additional speakers, see the website listed below.

This event is free and open to students and researchers from all the sciences, not just chemistry!

Food and refreshments will be provided. Registration is recommended.
