23rd Annual Asthma and Allergy Update, organized by the University of Rochester's Institute for Innovative Education, is a day-long educational event has been designed to provide physicians, physician extenders, respiratory therapists, social workers, and nurses in the community with an update in the field of asthma and allergy. The Interdisciplinary and inter-professional aspects of this CME activity make it unique.
The goal of this educational activity is to familiarize the learner with recent advances in the field of asthma and allergy. Expers in the field have been invited to speak and all sessions are designed to be interactive to keep the learner engaged. Case based discussion will be used to illustrate application of knowledge gained from this course and improve learner's competence in managing such patients.
The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
