The URMC Office of Equity and Inclusion invites you to the inaugural “Better Together: Equity, Anti-Racism, and a New Way Forward” conference. This day-long event includes education, engaging conversations, skill-building, networking, and asks the question, “What If?” What if our institution was united by a common goal of uplifting those who have been historically marginalized and oppressed? What if we had the tools to make lasting and transformational change not only at URMC but also in the Greater Rochester community? What if we could accelerate efforts already underway to make URMC a place where employees and patients feel safe, uplifted, and able to do their best work and live their healthiest lives?

Keynote speaker, Cecelia Gentili, founder of Trans Equity Consulting, kicks off the day and engaging breakout sessions will inspire creativity to re-imagine and re-prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. We’re better together! Join us this October!
