Research shows that social media can perpetuate body image distress and low self-esteem among adolescents. Join the Western New York Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders and the UR School of Nursing as we welcome Denise Hamburger, founder and executive director of Be Real, to facilitate the Body Confident Spaces workshop. She will offer insights on how to create body-confident homes and schools for today's young people. Parking in Lot 14 at Saunders Research Building will be validated.
