This year’s conference theme, “Meeting the Moment,” is rooted in the belief that this is a time of opportunity, growth, and meaningful connection. This year’s conference will offer a range of engaging breakout sessions designed to equip attendees with practical tools and insights. Together, we’ll explore ways to strengthen community, foster belonging, and support personal and collective well-being.
Participants will be invited to reflect on and answer the following questions for themselves:
The 2025 conference will feature a keynote address from Peabody Award-winning journalist Michele Norris, a fireside chat between NBCC Award-winning writer Harriet Washington '76 and President Sarah Mangelsdorf, and 22 breakout sessions led by campus and community experts.
All are welcome to attend this free conference, including students, staff, faculty, and alumni of the University of Rochester and members of the Greater Rochester community.
