Join the Sustainability Office at a kickoff event for Campus Race to Zero Waste, a national competition among colleges and universities to promote waste reduction activities. Over an eight-week period, particpating colleges report the amount of recycling and trash collected each week and are ranked in various categories. 

Visit several University and student organizations doing their part to reduce waste on campus, participate in a clothing exchange, learn the recycling rules, and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
