Can You Have It All? Balancing Career and Family in the Modern Economy

Undergraduate and graduate students who want to have a career, a spouse with a career, and children will inevitably face difficult trade-offs. Historically, work-life balance has been perceived as a “women’s issue,” but in recent years it has become clear that this is a balancing act for everyone in the workforce. Come hear Dawne Hickton as she discusses workforce trends and draws on her own experience raising six children with her husband while serving as the CEO of RTI International Metals, a billion dollar manufacturing company.
