Drs Cindy Duke and Kathy Santos will share their post-graduate careers. This session will explore work and experiences in research that expand from traditional academia to applied sciences for national defense applications.  Dr. Duke will share her experience as a virologist and fertility specialist and how science communication and social media have impacted health care.

Dr. Santos will share how she leveraged her knowledge from academia to perform tasks in support of chemical, biological, radiation, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) domain defense-related applications that best support her government sponsor’s missions.
