Sofia Salen ’17, MS ’18 received a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and a minor in Chinese language and culture from the University of Rochester (UR) in 2017. She then completed her Master of Science in data science at UR in 2018.

During her time as an undergraduate at the University, Sofia was a member of Alpha Phi, the Students’ Association Government, and the Order of Omega honor society. While completing her master's degree, she interned with Wegmans Foods Markets and attended the Grace Hopper Celebration. Since graduating, Sofia has worked with American Express (AMEX) in several different roles, and is currently a Digital Product Manager in Phoenix, Arizona.
