About this Event
The Careers IRL Alumni Access series provides intimate, fireside chat conversations designed specifically for our students of color and 1st generation students to engage with alumni with similar identities to learn about their career journey during and since leaving Rochester. These will be held remotely via Zoom.
The host for this session is Elmer Rodriguez, 2017 Computer Science alum, currently working as a System Analyst and Programmer in the Electronic Content Management Team at Rochester Regional Health. The Electronic Content Management Team focuses on developing, supporting, and enhancing applications that capture documents digitally, store documents, secure documents, and automate document drive processes.
The primary focus is to reduce dependence on paper, increase productivity and reduce organizational risks. Elmer joined Rochester Regional Health in 2018 as a Desktop Support Specialist. After spending a year supporting three hospitals, primarily Emergency Rooms and Operating Rooms he was promoted to the Electronic Content Management Team. Elmer currently supports over ten applications and serves to over four hundred clinical locations.
