But it's time to move from studying the issues to addressing what's impacting P-12 schools today. A panel of statewide and national educational leaders will share their expertise about collaborative efforts, policy changes, and local- and state-level support necessary to transform P-12 schools into sustained systems where students thrive.
Panelists include:
Dia Bryant, Executive Director, The Education Trust— New York
Shelley Jallow, New York State Monitor for the Rochester City School District
Wade Norwood, Regent, New York State Department of Education
Manuel Rivera, Associate Professor, Warner School of Education
The discussion will be moderated by Shaun Nelms, Superintendent of East High EPO, Professor and the William & Sheila Konar Director of the Center for Urban Education Success at the Warner School of Education, and feature special guest Warner School Dean Sarah Peyre.
The free event is sponsored by the Warner School of Education's Center for Urban Education Success. For disability-related accommodations, please contact Mary Judge Diegert at mjudge@warner.rochester.edu.
