Dr. Stuart Jordan is an Associate Professor of Political Science and the Faculty Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. His specialties include American political institutions, bureaucratic politics, and formal theory. Research interests involve administrative law, the design of institutions for policymaking in bureaucracies, and policymaking within the U.S. executive branch. Stu teaches courses in American politics and positive political theory.
