The Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation invites you to a special event highlighting the role of Ukrainian-Americans in Rochester and the Ukrainian Rochester Archive held at the University of Rochester. The event will also highlight the role of international partnerships between universities during wartime. 

Guest speakers will include Tim Kneeland, Professor of History & Politics at Nazareth University; Autumn Haag, Assistant Director for Outreach in URochester Special Collections; and keynote speaker Eduard Balashov, Rector of the National University of Ostroh Academy in Ukraine. Balashov will discuss the role of the university in prolonged times of war. 

A light lunch will be served at 2pm and talks begin at 2:45pm.
