Connecting the Pieces: A Psychologist's Role in Neuroscience

During this talk I will highlight how my specialized training in autism spectrum disorder will complement and support ongoing research in the Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab. I will summarize:

  • My experience with large scale, multi-site studies and research administration
  • My clinical expertise in standardized assessment and how implementation of behavioral supports could enhance research protocols
  • My role in clinical and research training. I will conclude with a summary of my independent research in cognitive models of individuals with ASD

This talk will highlight the ways in which interdisciplinary collaboration can provide fertile ground for future research endeavors.
