Eastman Performing Arts Medicine Center (EPAM) has offered live music in lobby spaces at URMC since 2019. During the week, visitors, staff, and patients can find artists playing in the main lobby and in the coffee shop location between the green and red elevators on the first floor. All artists are trained by the EPAM program to choose music that is appropriate to the environment, and all are professional artists.

January 2026 artists will include Ali Al Qazzaz, piano; Katrya Cichanowicz, cello; Arielle Zakim, double bass; Kenneth Kam, guitar; Sean Mulligan, viola; Katherine Marx, flute; Nathanael Kumar, euphonium; Jane Altenbach, euphonium.

February 2026 artists will include  Ali Al Qazzaz, piano; Katrya Cichanowicz, cello; Arielle Zakim, double bass; Sean Mulligan, viola; Katherine Marx, flute; and Bob Pizzutiello, Chapman stick.
