The annual golf tournament is in memory of Dave Forbes, who worked at Creation Technologies as an electrical engineer for more than 20 years.   

Dave lost his battle with cancer in June of 2022.  Dave was born in Canandaigua and raised in Bloomfield. He was a graduate of Bloomfield Central School, class of 1979. Following graduation, he served in the US Army and was stationed in Fort Gordon, Georgia, and Germany. Dave was a huge Buffalo Bills fanatic and loved sports, including playing golf at local courses.  

During Dave’s diagnosis of cancer, he received exceptional care from the Wilmot Cancer Center, which is the beneficiary of the Creation Technologies Forbes Memorial golf tournament.  Wilmot took care of Dave for about 2 years.
