Creators & Catalysts

Danielle Ponder exists at the intersection of art and activism. As both a public defender and award-winning lead singer of Danielle Ponder and the Tomorrow People, she has been described as “one of the most recognizable voices in Rochester” by the Democrat and Chronicle whether she’s speaking out against injustice or singing soul on stage.

Join us for this talk show style event where Danielle will be interviewed by Pride Network President and Vice President of No Disclaimers President, Miles Perry ‘20 about her music, her legal career and her journey to meld the two.

Creators & Catalysts brings us the unfiltered stories of ordinary people who saw a problem and took action- as advocates, educators, artists and entrepreneurs.

This event is hosted by the Barbara J. Burger iZone at the University of Rochester Libraries.
