Please join the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) as we celebrate our latest grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS)! We are marking 20 years of continuous funding from NIH to support translational science and research at the University of Rochester. Since 2006, CTSI has helped bring in over $157 million in federal research funding to URochester.

CTSI has received continuous funding from the NIH since 2006. It was formed as one of the original CTSA Program hubs to foster translational science and research across the United States. Prior to the CTSA program, NIH provided funds for General Clinical Research Centers, a program that was a long-standing initiative that provided academic medical centers with the specialized resources necessary to conduct clinical and translational research.
