Learn what Team Science is, how it's done, and why it's important for research in this informative seminar, led by Kevin Fiscella, M.D., M.P.H., UR CTSI Team Science Function leader and co-director of the Greater Rochester Practice-Based Research Network.
Fiscella will introduce you to the world of Team Science and will outline some of the steps you can take towards operationalizing it in your work. In the process, Fiscella will discuss key institutional resources and funding sources that can support you in conducting high impact interdisciplinary research.
This is the first in a series of UR CTSI seminars in which researchers will talk about their collaborative research, how they developed their team, how they managed and implemented interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary approaches to their work, and how they handled the challenges that came with it.
