 t the livestream here\, Sonia Mittal\, Clinical Lecturer in Law and Associa
 te Research Scholar in Law at Yale Law School\, discusses the prospects and
  limits of courts as protectors of democracy. Mittal previously served as S
 enior Counsel and Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Colu
 mbia\, where she helped oversee one of the largest Department of Justice in
 vestigations in its history. She is an expert on the rule of law and consti
 tutional failure in democracies throughout the world.
