About this Event
755 Library Road, Rochester, NY 14626
David Kwong graduated from Harvard University, where he studied the history of magic. A veteran "cruciverbalist" (crossword puzzle constructor), Kwong routinely creates puzzles for the New York Times and other national publications. He also works in film and television, having served as the puzzle and secre code consultant for the hit NBC show "Blindspot," the head magic consultant for the 2013 film Now You See Me, and the co-creator of Deception, a show for ABC about a magician who joins the FBI. Kwong's book Spellbound: Seven Principles of Illusion to Captivate Audiences and Unlock the Secrets of Success was published in May 2017. During this lunch event, Kwong will provide some answers to the all-too-common question: "what can you do with a history major?"
Pizza lunch provided.
