About this Event
755 Library Road, Rochester, NY 14626
David Pierre-Louis is a Haitian-American leader in social, environmental and economic justice. His passion for arts and innovation has led him to create non-profits, film, music, businesses, and events that lift up his home country.
When a 7.0 earthquake hit Haiti in 2010, he dropped everything to search for his mother in the rubble of Port-au-Prince. Witnessing the devastation, he fought to rapidly raise money, build a team, and launch an innovative project to empower the people of Haiti.
In this talk-show style event, Pierre-Louis will share his story of using entrepreneurial thinking to help the people of Haiti, and will discuss the film that documented his efforts.
