Bridging the Gap: Empowering Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Students in Hearing Research Environments

This conference aims to advance the success of Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals in biomedical and behavioral science research careers. It will do so by bringing together aspiring and successful Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing scientists and allied groups nationwide to network and build a community – thereby creating opportunities for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Scientists as they navigate their training and career paths.

While the conference is targeted to support the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community, all groups are encouraged to attend. The conference is open to undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral students, faculty, and staff.

Our exciting two-day program includes a distinguished group of speakers, interactive poster sessions, small group breakout sessions, and networking opportunities.

You are welcome to register online or in person at the door on the day of the event if we have the space to accommodate you. We reserve the right to decline entrance if we are at capacity.
