Decoda has developed a new 21st Century paradigm for audience engagement. This workshop will assist students in developing the skills and attitudes necessary for successful and impactful performances in a range of community venues and organizations using the teaching-artist model including :
o How to frame a piece of music for your audience
o Strategies for interactive performances
Students are asked to bring instruments for participation activities (if you can bring it with you – no need to drag your harp or timpani over).
Breakfast will be provided from 9am to 9:30am, and the workshop will run from 9:30am to 11:30am. Space is limited, so sign up now by clicking the register button below.
