This is a masterclass in which University librarians will show you how to use specific databases and less formal venues to discover research published by Rochester’s faculty members. You will see the different formats our faculty's scholarship takes, how to conduct discipline-specific searches, and how social networks have a place in academia.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll have gained knowledge and skills that will not only help you identify where your interests align with the work of current faculty members, but it will also help you begin or continue building your academic network.
This event is part of the Pathways to Research Opportunities (PRO) program, which is a series of talks, workshops, tutorials, and resources for students who are interested in doing research. PRO is offered through the River Campus Libraries and in conjunction with the Office of Undergraduate Research, the Career Center, and others.
