Led by internationally renowned artist Eiko Otake, Delicious Movement Workshops are designed for all people who love to move or who want to love to move with delicious feelings. You don't have to be a dancer to enjoy the experience. These workshops are emphatically noncompetitive and appropriate to all levels of training and ability.

Eiko will also perform A Body, Land, and War on Friday Feb 13 beginning at 7:30 PM in Spurrier Dance Theater. Combining movement, video projection, and storytelling, interdisciplinary performance artist Eiko Otake will talk about her two most ambitious collaboration projects A Body in Fukushima and What Is War. She will also perform some sections from both live. What Is War is a collaborative work between Eiko and Chinese artist Wen Hui. Likewise, A Body in Fukushima is Eiko's collaboration with historian and photographer William Johnston. Click here to learn more and purchase tickets.

Made possible with the generous support of the Schwartz Performing Arts Fund of the Institute for the Performing Arts, the University Committee for Interdisciplinary Studies, the Central New York Humanities Corridor, the Humanities Project, Film and Media Studies, the Graduate Program in Visual and Cultural Studies, and the Department of Modern Languages and Culture.
