Stem Cell Transplantation in 2019:  No Patient is Left Behind!

Presented by Omar Aljitawi, MBBS, Associate Professor of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, University of Rochester Medical Center.

Educational Objectives:


At the conclusion of this presentation participants should be able to:

1.  Understand the role of allogeneic stem cell transplantation in treating hematologic diseases.

2.  Understand the role of alternative donor transplantation in patients who lack donors.

3.  Recognize current research activities at URMC in cord blood transplantation.
