The Dawn of Tolvaptan in Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease, presented by Akram Audi, MDNephrology Fellow, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, and Rickinder Grewal, MD, Nephrology Fellow, Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, Both:  University of Rochester Medical Center.

Educational Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation participants should be able to:

1.  Understand the pathophysiology and disease course of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease.

2.  Understand the indications for tolvaptan in autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease as well as potential adverse events.
