Educational Objectives:

At the conclusion of Presentation 1 participants should be able to:

1.  Describe the concept of validity in assessments of learners.

2.  Identify the two major threats to validity.

At the conclusion of Presentation 2 participants should be able to:

1.  Understand possible routes to scholarship through national organizations.

2.  Appreciate the role a national survey can have in creating scholarship and policy change.
