Department of Medicine Grand Rounds

Transitioning to Better Care for Transgender Individuals, An Endocrinology Perspective, presented by Salman Azim, MD, Endocrinology Fellow, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, and Kenilia Ventura, MD, Endocrinology Fellow, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Both:  University of Rochester Medical Center.

Educational Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation participants should be able to:

1.  Be familiar with gender specific affirming hormone therapy, targets of treatment, and risks of GAHT.

2.  Understand commonly used terminology and definitions in transgender care.
