Diversity Seminar Series: Approaching the Deaf Person (Before the Interpreter Arrives)

This talk will describe common mistakes when interacting with the Deaf patient. We will also discuss strategies for avoiding these common pitfalls. Lastly, we will provide resources to learn some simple American Sign Language and for further information on service available at UR.
