Diversity Seminar Series: Latinx Voices and Mental Health

The topic of this presentation is "Latinx Voices: Understanding Mental Health in our Patient Population."

Presented by: Dr. Telva Olivares, Dr. Caroline Silva, Leticia Ruiz, LMSW, Diane Lerner, LCSW-R, Evelyn Santos, RN, Grace Weinstein, LCSW 

The staff of the Lazos Fuertes clinic will present on their work with Latinx patients in outpatient mental health. Topics to be covered include cultural responsiveness, unique clinical presentations based on culture, and misperceptions about culturally bound syndromes.

All faculty, fellows, residents, students and staff are welcome! A light lunch will be provided.
