Welcome! (and welcome back) to the University of Rochester for the 2023-24 academic year.

Doctoral SQUAD (Strengths & Querying for Unity, Accomplishment, and Direction) is an initiative to support early-stage doctoral students from backgrounds underrepresented or historically excluded from higher education.

Doctoral SQUAD Orientation is an opportunity to connect with peers and senior colleagues with affiliations across the University, as well as learn more about the University and campus resources. We're looking forward to remarks from Dr. Jeffrey McCune.

The format of SQUAD Orientation is introductions, overview, and remarks from 1-3:30pm in  Gavett Hall room 206 (River Campus). We will transition to a reception from 3:30-4:30pm in Harkness Hall room 210 (River Campus).
