Henry I Padrón-Morales is a Nuyorikan born in Brooklyn NY. Dos Worlds/Two Mundos is his interpretation of the colonial experience using a translanguaging delivery. Prior to his 34 year career as an educator he was a community/cultural activist. Henry was very involved in the stoppage of bombing, by the US military and its allies, of Culebra and Vieques, the two island municipalities of Puerto Rico. His paternal side of the family are from both of these islands. Henry was also involved in preserving his heritage language and culture as a visiting artist with his percussion ensemble Salmorejo. His work appears in anthologies, research-based studies in linguistics, His political affiliations include: The Young Lords Party, Puerto Rican Independence Party and National Congress for Puerto Rican Rights. He has collaborated with Latine artists from El Salvadoe, Chile, Peru, Honduras... in Toronto ON, and Montréal QC.
