March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Strollin for the Colon hosts Dress in Blue Day to promote recognition of colorectal cancer and to honor all impacted by this disease. Stop by the Strong Memorial Hospital lobby for information from a variety of groups including URMC Colorectal Surgery, Finger Lakes Cancer Services, Hereditary Risk Reduction Group, Wilmot, Community Outreach and Engagement Office, and URMC Gastroenterology.

Remember to wear blue to help carry the message that all men and women age 45 and older should be screened for colorectal cancer.

Can’t join in person? Post a photo with your friends and family wearing blue with #StrollinForTheColon on Facebook and/or Twitter during March.

Sponsored by: Strollin’ for the Colon and UR Medicine Gastroenterology & Hepatology
