The Americans with Disabilities Amendment Act (ADAA) requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations so that employees with disabilities can enjoy the benefits and privileges of employment equal to those enjoyed by similarly situated employees without disabilities. The University has numerous processes and procedures in place to support supervisors with the University’s obligations to provide reasonable accommodations. This session will provide an overview of the legal framework which supports the institutional processes and educate participates on individual responsibilities.
