Eastman’s Philharmonia, conducted by Neil Varon, presents the Rochester premiere of alumnus Kevin Puts’ ‘94E, ‘99E (DMA) The Brightness of Light, featuring soprano Nicole Cabell ‘01E, soprano and baritone Rod Gilfry, with text from letters of Georgia O’Keefe and Alfred Steiglitz.

Imagine reading the most beautiful love letters full of poetry, humor, and passion. Now picture them sung on our stage by two of the most talented performers of our time, with a ravishing orchestra behind them. Yeah, the thought takes our breath away, too.
