The workshop that will focus on engaging with the curatorial and editorial practices of writer, curator, and translator Greg de Cuir Jr. A few brief recommended reading materials, such as articles and examples of film programs, will be provided to facilitate discussion and introduce attendees to some of the defining ideas of Greg’s practice. Additionally, we will have a panel discussion and a Q&A where attendees can field general questions regarding Greg’s research and his screening at the Visual Studies Workshop (VSW). We encourage everyone to also attend Greg’s VSW film program, on Thursday, October 11th from 6-9 PM (http://www.vsw.org). We look forward to your attendance!
This program is made possible by the generous support of the Visual and Cultural Studies Program, the Film and Media Studies Program, and the University Committee for Interdisciplinary Studies.
