Empowering the Participant Voice (EPV) is a Rockefeller-led, National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences-funded project that aims to develop tools that help institutions collect participant feedback using the Research Participant Perception Survey (RPPS). Leveraging the features and ubiquity of REDCap, we have built software, tools, guides and capacity to readily field the RPPS survey, visualize the key analyses in an interactive REDCap-based At-a-Glance Dashboard for local use, and aggregate data to a national database. The sites work as a learning collaborative, and the sites each tested locally configured use cases, shared lessons learned, refined the features of the tools and procedures, and created a detailed Guide.

The presenters are Ann Dozier, RN, PhD, (University of Rochester), Rhonda Kost, MD, (The Rockefeller University),  Alex Cheng, PhD, (Vanderbilt University),  Joseph Andrews, PhD, (Wake Forest University),   Daniel Ford, MD, MPH, (Johns Hopkins University), and  Ranee Chatterjee-Montgomery, MD, (Duke University).  During this webinar, the collaborating sites will discuss their experiences engaging stakeholders, configuring the infrastructure, implementing the survey, analyzing responses for actionable findings, and sharing results with stakeholders. Attendees will also learn about opportunities to explore fielding the RPPS survey at their site as early -adopters.

This event,  hosted by the Trial Innovation Network, is made available to the University of Rochester community via the UR Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
