Alison B. Hamilton, PhD, MPH, Research Career Scientist and Implementation Research Director at the Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, and Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the University of California Los Angeles, will present “Rapid Qualitative Analysis in Implementation Research.”

Hamilton received her PhD in psychological and medical anthropology from UCLA in 2002 and her MPH from UCLA in 2009. Her research portfolio focuses on improving health services for vulnerable and marginalized populations by understanding people’s lived experiences and implementing evidence-based and evidence-informed practices in contextually and theoretically informed ways. She is a member of the Society for Implementation Research Collaboration, an associate editor for Implementation Science Communications, and on the editorial boards of Implementation Science, Implementation Research and Practice, and Women’s Health Issues.
