In this webinar, Alicia Bunger M.S.W., Ph.D., Associate Professor in the College of Social Work at Ohio State University, will provide insights from her experience investigating strategies for promoting coordinated, high-quality care for children and families, and will discuss strategies for implementing cross-system interventions, with an emphasis on collaboration building among stakeholders.

Bunger also serves as the secretary of the Society for Implementation Research Collaboration (SIRC). Her research addresses the central question: how can human service organizations and professionals work together to improve service access, quality, and outcomes for the communities they serve?

This webinar is part of the UR CTSI’s Equity-Focused Dissemination and Implementation (EQ-DI) webinar series, which explores the bridge between research and action, and how to address issues that can speed up or slow down the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices.

The COVID-19 pandemic showed us how rapidly environments and systems evolve and how that can have a huge impact on how we get interventions like testing and treatment to the people who need them. This year the series focuses on how context – and its complex and evolving nature – can impact dissemination and implementation of health-improving interventions. The webinar series provides perspectives on implementation dynamics, engaging stakeholders, building relations across health systems, and most importantly, how EQ-DI science can help prevent vulnerable individuals and social groups from falling through the cracks.
