A question we often hear is, “Why should I apply when so few are selected?” If you’ve heard the same, please join us for Everybody Wins: Ten Reasons to Apply for the Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship on Thursday, January 13th from 1-1:30pm EST. I’ll share some ways to address that concern, and how the fellowship can be leveraged to increase the number of students of color abroad on all sorts of programs. (We’ll send the recording to all registrants.)

In case you missed it in the last edition of the newsletter, allow me to also mention our toolkit of resources, which you can find here. It includes an email template to send to students, updated flyers, social media graphics, links to videos (i.e. this wonderful 45 second summary by one of our alums), and alternative summer programs that focus on Frederick Douglass, leadership, and social justice.
