About this Event
Since September 2020, the public has had digital access to the Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation (RBSCP) exhibition We Want More and We Will Have It: Women Running Rochester.
Join Melissa S. Mead, the John M. and Barbara Keil University Archivist and Rochester Collections Librarian, for a look at women's involvement at the University of Rochester during its first 50 years. This event is part three of a six-part virtual event series that is exploring stories behind Women Running Rochester and some of the elements that brought it to life.
The session will be recorded and complemented by a related blog post to be shared after the event. Participants can post questions in Zoom chat, which will be answered in the related blog post.
Women Running Rochester ExhiBits will be held every second Tuesday through June 8. They are free and open to the public. For more information contact Autumn Haag, assistant director for RBSCP, at ahaag@library.rochester.edu.
